Houston Comes To Dallas

Today was a ton of fun. Colt and Tim came into town from Houston and we rode Alliance all day long. We got a lot of photos for your viewing pleasure and like one and a half clips for the next web video. The current web video is done and going to be posted in the next few hours most likely.

Visit Shmisit

My visit to Rockport has been great. I was planning on filming some with Lee while I was down but his bike is broken so that's not going to happen. Really bummin' about that. Fortunately I've gotten in some really fun backyard sessions with my best friends like the good ole' days. Good times. Here are some photos from my old ramps that are still holdin' strong... kind of.

Chill Session

I was absolutely beat today from last night, but Andrew wanted to go up to the park so we went up and messed around a bit and actually got a good clip or two for the web video. Here are some photos from today.

Goodness freakin' gracious. Tonight was ridiculous. There was a Lock-in at Alliance Skatepark and I rode for 13 hours straight. I am absolutely beat... I can't even describe. Anyways, a lot of insane stuff went down. And here are a few of them.

Spencer went up and did a tiretap and Chase spun him around in a 540 fashion and then Spencer dropped back in. This actually took a while and was SO funny to watch. Those guys are nuts.



Self-explanatory. Two different Spencers jumping the box jump looking at each other.



This is just STUPID awesome!!! It started out with Spencer talking about jumping over someone and ended up with him tailwhipping over everyone!!! The footage of this is insane. The photo just doesn't do it justice. He was UP there.





This is just awesome. Spencer Johnson reupholstered his Shadow seat with REAL ALLIGATOR SKIN! He is also sporting Hidden stickers. Rad rad rad.







Thanks again everyone for such a rad 13 hour session. It was great. Now I'm going to sleep for a very long time.

Lovely Days

Today was fantastic. We spent the first part of the day trying to track down a frame for me to use until I get another one. Thanks a ton Josh. That was a challenge getting that thing taken apart and then putting it back together for me to ride the frame. These guys Colt and Steve came up to Alliance and they were super rad and fun. I don't have any photos from today but I'll post an older one for fun.

Bunnyhops and Broken Frames

Today was a pretty intense day. I learned bunnyhop barspins but I also cracked the mess out of my frame. It was super windy out today as well but that's much better than rainy... I think.

Seven Seven Seven

Goodness Gracious! The past few days have been SO tiring. We have been riding non-stop. We sessioned Alliance and then hit up the new Irving park. A ton of people were out riding so it made for a super good time. Here are some shots. Spencer Johnson and Spencer Bass teamed up for a hand-jam. That was way rad. Firing it out on a six foot quarter... took balls.

Also, Spencer foofed the guard rail with a really really big drop on the other side. Enjoy.

Still havin' fun. Not much to update on. Riding today was really good. I learned toothpicks so I'm stoked on that. Spencer almost killed himself on a wallride to flat. Here is a terrible photo of Spencer doing a walltap. That's about it.

I See Blue Skies

There weren't exactly blue skies today, but it quit raining long enough for us to get a RAD session in today. Honestly, the more I hang with Spencer and Andrew the more I love them. Session with those guys are so much fun. We didn't even get anything great on film today but it was so much fun and everyone really killed it, just not banger type stuff.

Spencer has been asking me lately "Do you think 360 foot jams on the spine would be hard?" I'm like "DOY!" Well today we rode the pro course for quite a while and Spencer stuck it first try!!! Ridiculous. His level of riding is just unreal. I always find myself feeling proud when I think of a trick I can do that he can't, or a move I can pull that he can't. But every time I ask him if he can do it, he's like... "uh I don't know," then pulls it first couple of tries if not the first try. His tech skills are blowing up.

I showed Andrew what we have so far of the web video, which include some SICK clips of him. His reaction was ,"Dang I really need to step it up"... !!! Are you kidding me!? I was like "ANDREW! You freaking KILL it!" Whatever. I'm so stoked he's so picky about his clips because it's going to make for a SICK video. I'm really excited. He kills it more and more every time I ride with him.

Rain, Rain, and More Rain

Today was ridiculous. It started out raining, then it dried up so I went to pick up Andrew to go ride some street. As I pull up to his house, it starts raining. We spent the next hour or so driving around in the pouring down rain trying to find a place that was dry.
We drove all the way to Fort Worth and found some dry street. As I opened my trunk to get my bike, I found that I had a flat. My valve stem had somehow come off... the entire valve stem. Lame. So I just walked around and filmed and took photos of Andrew. All of the streets around my house were flooding so I couldn't get back home afterwards. It's been such a rainy couple of weeks. So annoying. Anyways here are a few shots of Andrew in downtown Fort Worth.
Oh Yeah! I also stripped my bike to raw... and Spencer broke my brake cable so I'm brakeless at the moment.
