Hundred Year Storm

Tiny update for now, but cool random news. Hundred Year Storm, an amazing amazing band from Austin, Tx was spotted in Florida wearing Hidden. They came through Corpus Christi not too long ago and I hooked them up with some threads at the show. BE SURE and check them out. They are a spectacular band and if you get the chance to see them live you would be a dufus for not doing so.

Roadtrip

Amazing. I played a show friday night that went pretty well. A lot of people came out that I was SO excited to see and glad they came. Thanks everyone. Picked up Lee that night and went back to my house to get all our stuff together. We left Saturday morning at 6:30ish for Dallas. The trip was pretty good.

We pulled up to Spencer's house after getting lost and getting guided to his house over the phone. Rode street. Sick session. Rode GPX. Woke up the next morning and rode trails then came home. Unfortunately Lee got hurt at GPX doing a tailwhip over the big box. He's gettin' better though. This is a short update for everything that went down. But here are a few photographs.... i have to go to class...

PS. the bios page is going to be reworked totally, with the addition of BetsyCooper.

Some Good Good News

Well this has been needed for a very long time. A Hidden Roadtrip. Finally, it's going to happen. Lee and I are taking off from my house here in Rockport, for Dallas on Saturday morning. It's about a six hour drive if we don't get lost and we plan on riding tons of street and park once we get up there. It will be the first time the entire team has been together ever. I am really excited about getting some footy and photos of all of us.

For those of you who live in the Corpus Christi/Rockport area and like acoustic stuff, I am playing at Expresso, a coffee place in Portland. Here is the info if you would like to come out. Click the flyer image to go to the edwin myspace.

Team Photos

I put together a little slideshow photogallery thing with photographs of the Hidden Team. Be sure and check it out and have fun and be safe. Everyone has been riding extra hard lately before school starts up again. Ross has actually already started, congratulations man on your first day as a High Schooler. Yeah in case you guys didn't know, Ross and Spencer are both under the age of 16. I hope everyone is doing well.

If you have any photos of you or your friends wearing Hidden Clothing, send them in and you may end up on the website. Even if you aren't riding or skating, just send them in anyways.

New Hidden Artist

Okay, I guess this is the official introduction to a new artist working with Hidden. I am way way way excited to be even typing this. I am honored to welcome Betsy Cooper to the Hidden family. She is an amazing artist who probably does a lot more than I even know about. Looking through her sketchbooks has been a treat to say the least. Her unusual and fantastically unique style caught my eye and i have confidence that it will catch yours as well. Here are a few little "rough" tastes of her stuff.

I'm sure she would not want me posting one of these as she has told me it was bad and she can do way better or something like that. haha. I just wanted everyone to get a tiny taste of her style. Anyways.

Graphic Finalized

I got the Graphic finalized for the messenger bags. Here it is. Some more things are in the works right now including a guest artist for a shirt in the near future. More information on that soon. I am super excited about it.

Also a lot is being done trying to get a new camera for Hidden ads and whatnot. More on that later as well.

Messenger Bags

Everyone be sure and check out the Hidden ad in PROPS issue 61 whenever that comes out.

Right now the focus is on the new messenger bags for the most part. I have been messing around with a lot of ideas and different bags to use and which logos and where and how and whatnot. I really liked this one so everyone let me know what you think about it. If you have any other color ideas instead of just black and blue let me know.

In Team news, Lee is still killing corpus, Spencer and Ross are killing the DFW area as usual, and I am just now getting back on my bicycle because I have been out of town at family reunion for a while. Good times. The Hidden Ramps seem to be holding up pretty good through all the rain and whatnot. The five needs to be resurfaced... it still just has temporary junk thrown on it for now. I hope everyone is doing well and not hurting themselves in any way. I love you all.

Keep checking in for regular updates!
